This will create an Australian Non-Fixed Unit Trust. This type of trust has two classes of unit holders:

  • one class with an entitlement to income at the discretion of the trustee; and
  • one class with an entitlement to income and capital proportional to their unit holdings.

To be entitled to an ABN, your trust must:

  • be an Australian resident for tax purposes;
  • not be co-owned or controlled by a state/territory or local government, and
  • be otherwise eligible for an ABN.

ABN, TFN & GST Registrations

We can as an additional service register your trust's ABN, TFN and GST registrations for your:

  • Proprietary Limited Company;
  • Trust; and
  • SMSF.
